At Burlington Taxi we don’t just do business here. We also live in Burlington …send our children to school here…and take part in the community. And most importantly, our Customers are also our neighbours.

That’s why we see involvement in our local Community as more than just a corporate duty. Sure it makes good business sense. But for of us at Burlington Taxi, it’s a personal commitment to contributing to the quality of life we all enjoy from living in Burlington.

As part of our active participation in the relationship with the Burlington community, we’ve developed, sponsored and become involved with the following programs:

  • Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign
    Burlington Taxi has been supporting the Breast Cancer Foundation’s Awareness Campaign to spread the message of early detection, and to communicate the campaign’s message to our passengers, family and friends.
  • Maternal Child Service. Supply free transportation to Joseph Brant hospital for mothers to the breast feeding clinic.
  • Contributing and supporting work done for the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada for over 10 years.
  • Since 1989, Burlington Taxi has been helping to support the Burlington Transit System through the purchase and maintenance of Wheel Chair Accessible Taxis. Although operating these vehicles is not profitable for our business, we believe that it part of our responsibility to ensure that disabled persons have the same access to a taxi service as anyone else.
  • Supporting Burlington Festival of lights since its inception.
  • A direct supporter of the Halton Women’s Place.
